The FIA has confirmed the provisional grid for Sunday's race after Lewis Hamilton's three-place demotion was added to the already-known penalties for Lance Stroll (who doesn't actually lose a place from where he qualified in 19th) and Oliver Bearman.

How Monaco GP grid now stands
Hamilton given three-grid place penalty for impeding Verstappen
Lewis Hamilton has been given a three-grid place penalty and will start Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix from seventh after impeding Max Verstappen in qualifying.
Hamilton was told by his engineer that Verstappen was on a slow lap, but the Red Bull driver was on a flying lap instead and got blocked in Q1.
Verstappen will now start in fourth behind the top three of Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri.
Hamilton, from seventh, will have Isack Hadjar and Fernando Alonso in between himself and Verstappen.
The stewards said: "Car 44 was on a slow lap and off the racing line as he was approaching Turn 2. Car 1 was approaching Car 44 on a push lap. The team first informed the driver of Car 44 that Car 1 was on a fast lap.
"Then they sent another message saying that Car 1 was ‘slowing down’ when in fact Car 1 was always on a push lap and was not ‘slowing down’ as suggested by the team.
"This resulted in Car 44 speeding up and moving into the racing line of Car 1 entering Turn 3. Car 1 had to react to Car 44 appearing to move into the racing line.
"This meant that Car 1 had to move off the usual racing line and the push lap had to be aborted by Car 1. We carefully examined the racing line taken by Car 1 in previous laps at the same area and determined that Car 44 did in fact enter the racing line that Car 1 used in previous push laps.
"This put it beyond doubt that Car 1 was impeded. The driver of Car 44 expressed his displeasure at the incorrect message from the team immediately after the incident.
"During the hearing, the fact of the team’s incorrect message leading to the incident was accepted by the driver of Car 44.
"As with previous incidents of this nature where a driver has received inaccurate or incomplete information resulting in a car impeding another, the fact that the radio message was the cause of the impeding does not amount to a mitigating factor.
"We therefore impose the standard penalty of a drop of 3 grid positions."
Stroll given three-grid place penalty for impeding
Lance Stroll has been given a three-grid place penalty for impeding Pierre Gasly in the first part of qualifying.
Stroll already had a one-grid penalty for causing a collision with Charles Leclerc yesterday and only qualified 19th, so will start tomorrow's race at the back regardless.
The stewards said: "Car 18 was informed that Car 10 was arriving on a fast lap at Turn 10.
"From the radio communications it appears that Car 18 was not informed/reminded that Car 44 (whom Car 18 had overtaken earlier in that lap) was also coming and that Car 44 was going to overtake Car 18.
"The driver of Car 18 assumed wrongly that there was only one car to be let by and when Car 44 (which was not on a fast lap) went by him, he moved back to the racing line thereby impeding Car 10 which was on a fast lap.
"During the hearing, the driver of Car 18 stated that he could not tell the colour of the car that had overtaken him because of the position of the sun, which we accepted.
"He therefore wrongly assumed that there was no other car to be let by. In the circumstances, we imposed the usual penalty of a drop of 3 grid positions."
Norris insists no 'new approach' by not showing emotion
Pole-sitter Lando Norris speaking to Sky Sports F1:
"I'm happy. It doesn't mean I have to show emotion. This is not a new approach!
"I am very happy, especially to do it here in Monaco and do it ahead of Charles is that little bit sweeter.
"This weekend has been about making little bits of progress every session, every lap.
"Charles has been on top in every session, so it's hard to just go 'yeah we have to do it now'.
"But we have been confidence we have been there or thereabouts. We knew we had a bit more in qualifying and I knew if I had a good lap and put things together, I could be on pole."
Hamilton: I don't know about race day strategy
More from Lewis Hamilton:
"I really don't know about tomorrow's strategy. Last year was terrible because we had a red flag on the first lap, so it's great we have the two stops.
"For a few people, the medium grained massively. I chose two hards, Charles chose to have two mediums.
"I'm really hoping that can make some sort of difference but we will wait and see what the stewards say."
Hamilton: I was off line but distracted Verstappen
Lewis Hamilton speaking after qualifying fourth for the Monaco Grand Prix:
"Not the greatest day but the weekend has generally been going quite well. It's felt amazing to be in a Ferrari around this track.
"The car felt really good. Today in P3 to have that shunt was definitely not helpful.
"I had a couple of cars ahead and lost some downforce at the rear and lost the back end.
"The team did an amazing job to recover the car."
On his alleged impeding of Max Verstappen in qualifying:
"Qualifying is so much fun around here. Very difficult to keep out of the way of everybody.
"I think I was doing a good job of staying out of the way of everyone but then the team said Max was on a fast lap so I was to the left, then they said 'no he's not on a fast lap'.
"I was just about to get back on power. I accelerated for 10 metres. I was off the line but for sure distracting him."
Russell 'really frustrated' after engine issue
George Russell speaking after qualifying 14th for the Monaco Grand Prix due to an engine issue:
"Two races, two problems. It's obviously not good. Totally different reasons.
"I was on a straight and hit the bump. The bump was there all this weekend but on this occasion the engine stopped working.
"I'm really frustrated right now. Qualifying here is the most exciting of the season and from lap 1 in Q1 I felt back in the game. I felt strong in the car.
"I had no doubt we could have been fighting for a good position.
On tomorrow's race:
"I think you will see half of the drivers will go one direction, half will go in the other so there's not much you can do from this position.
"Two pit stops for Monaco is not normal but two pit stops in many other races is very normal, so there's not going to be any revelations.
"We were preparing from the front few grid positions. We didn't have any strategy plans from P14 and P15. We are here now and that's not good."

Wolff: Abysmal day for Mercedes
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff speaking to Sky Sports F1:
"Abysmal. We just started to have a car that went and these mistakes, they happen whether they are a senior driver or not.
"When it comes to George we need to find out what happened on the engine.
On what Mercedes can do tomorrow:
"We are hoping to have a reverse grid or something! With this mandatory two stops, there are a few variables."

Button: Hamilton's engineer got it wrong
Sky Sports F1's Jenson Button:
"It's always a dangerous place. It's communication. You need good communication between driver and engineer and they got it wrong.
"They have to say 'there's a car behind you, we think he's going quick but we are not sure, so you need to move out of the way' that's how it should be."
Verstappen 'not surprised' by Red Bull lack of pace
More from Verstappen on his qualifying, first on where he was losing out to Ferrari and McLaren:
"Mainly the middle sector. All the low-speed mechanical grip corners, we didn't have it.
"I couldn't find more lap time compared to practice. Every time I had to ride a kerb or drop a wheel in a cambered corner, it didn't grip up.
"As soon as we went out in qualifying, and I saw the lap time progression, I knew we were not in that fight."
On whether he was surprised by Red Bull's lack of pace:
"Not really. I know our car is not very good in low speed. This year, in qualifying, it's always been very close between a lot of cars.
"If you are lacking feeling or balance in those corners, it's not happening."
