24 Hours of Le Mans: Cadillac top order ahead of BMW and Ferrari in qualifying as Alex Lynn leads Hypercar class.

The 2025 edition of Le Mans is officially here - This year's edition will feature a stacked Hypercar race that is bolstered by the additions of BMW, Lamborghini, Alpine, Toyota and new entrants Aston Martin. Ferrari were champions in 2023 and 2024, but will they complete a three-peat?

Today's qualifying session saw the #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, piloted by Alex Lynn, top the Hypercar standings ahead of the #15 BMW M Team WRT and the #51 Ferrari AF Corse.
After the #35 Alpine had a spin which brought out the double yellow flags, the #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing, driven by Nyck de Vries, didn't make it into the top 15 - a shock result for one of the race favourites.

Also out of contention for tomorrow's Hyperpole session are the #009 Aston Martin THOR Team, the #94 Peugeot TotalEnergies, the #93 Peugeot TotalEnergies, the #99 Proton Competition, and the #007 Aston Martin THOR Team.
