• Lando Norris qualified fourth with a time of 1:14.962. He admitted to underperforming, stating, "I was not fast enough," and took responsibility for the result. 

Red Bull: Verstappen Close Second, Tsunoda Crashes

• Max Verstappen will start from P2 after a strong qualifying session, missing out on pole by just 0.034 seconds.

• Yuki Tsunoda suffered a severe crash during Q1 at the Villeneuve chicane, flipping his car. He emerged unscathed but did not set a qualifying time and will start from the back. 

Mercedes: Russell Impresses, Antonelli Struggles

• George Russell delivered a strong performance, qualifying third with a time of 1:14.807. 

• Kimi Antonelli failed to make it into Q3 and will start 13th on the grid.
