Terms of Service for Sappertask

Welcome to Sappertask! These Terms of Service "Terms" govern your use of the Sappertask platform, available at https://sappertask.com, and any related services provided by Sappertask, a branch project of Xtotech Nigeria. By accessing or using Sappertask, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform.  

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or using Sappertask, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sappertask (a branch of Xtotech Nigeria).  

2. Eligibility  
To use Sappertask, you must:  
- Be at least 15 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.  
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.  
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.  

If you are using Sappertask on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.  

3. Account Registration
To access certain features of Sappertask, you must create an account. You agree to:  
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.  
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.  
- Safeguard your login credentials and notify Sappertask immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of security.  
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.  

4. Use of the Platform 
Sappertask grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the platform for its intended purpose—task management and productivity enhancement. You agree not to:  
- Use Sappertask for any illegal, unauthorized, or prohibited purpose.  
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.  
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Sappertask.  
- Use the platform to infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.  

5. User Content  
You retain ownership of any content you upload, create, or share on Sappertask ("User Content"). By using the platform, you grant Sappertask a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the platform.  

You are solely responsible for your User Content and ensure that it does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of third parties.  

6. Fees and Payments  
Certain features of Sappertask may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:  
- Pay all applicable fees as outlined on the platform.  
- Authorize Sappertask to charge your chosen payment method for recurring subscriptions.  
- Provide accurate billing information and update it as necessary.  

Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.  

7. Termination  
Sappertask reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:  
- Violation of these Terms.  
- Engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities.  
- Non-payment of fees (for paid plans).  

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting Sappertask support.  

8. Intellectual Property  
All intellectual property rights in the Sappertask platform, including but not limited to software, design, logos, and content, are owned by Sappertask and Xtotech Nigeria. You may not use, copy, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.  

9. Disclaimer of Warranties  
Sappertask is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Sappertask does not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.  

10. Limitation of Liability  
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sappertask and Xtotech Nigeria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.  

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sappertask shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nigeria.  

12. Changes to These Terms
Sappertask reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Sappertask after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
