Toyota is a respected manufacturer in the automotive world. The name is synonymous with reliability, discipline, and resilience. Qualities that translate perfectly to a demanding event like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which the Japanese entered for the first time 40 years ago. After years of struggle and misfortune, Toyota finally managed to triumph at the Le Mans classic in 2018. Undefeated until 2022, thanks to these five consecutive victories, it enjoys the status of favorite, regardless of the drivers on board or the opponents. Since 2023, however, the competition has been fiercer than ever . Ferrari won the last two editions, but Toyota remained in ambush with two second-place finishes.

Even though this is its fifth year of operation, the car that won in 2021 and 2022 is still very sharp. For its development, Toyota was inspired by the GR Super Sport Concept prototype , presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2018, which makes it easy to identify with the brand's philosophy.
